Health data: none. WaterBear stores your health records
(fasts, meals, workouts, sleep, labs, cold/hot sessions, relaxation, sunlight,
and social logs) in your browser's IndexedDB on your device.
That data is not transmitted to us.
Optional sync: if you choose to enable sync, your data is stored in a Supabase instance you control. Sync is off by default. When off, no network requests leave your device for your health data.
Contact submissions: if you email us or submit a form on the landing page, we collect the information you provide (typically name, email, and message). We use it only to reply.
Contact information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
WaterBear's AI features run entirely on your device via WebGPU. Your prompts and your health data are processed locally and are not sent to any external inference service.
Health data: on your device, retained until you delete it or uninstall the app. Contact submissions: retained only as long as needed to handle your inquiry.
This site does not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels. WaterBear the app does not include analytics SDKs.
Because your health data never leaves your device, you have full control by default: export it, delete it, or uninstall the app at any time. For data you have sent us directly (e.g. an email), you may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.
